    What modpack for Laptop

I have an MSI laptop, can't tell you exactly which one as I am not in front of it. It has been a good machine and I LOVE the dual internal fans. They go a long way to help cool the machine. My only complaint is the casing is some sort of painted on material and has rubbed off where my hand...

    What modpack for Laptop

I dont understand why your laptop wont run Minecraft. I run a laptop with an i7 2nd gen 2.8 ghz, 12gb ram, 3gb gpu and I can run all the mods 3 on max settings fine. If you don't have fan or other chill pad under your laptop, you need one.

    Interesting Ore Processing Methods?

Have you done Skyfactory? You still put ore in a box and apply heat, but the method of getting the ores with Ex Nihlio is quiet different and good, imo.

    Continuum, What went wrong?

Ores in other dimensions has been done in Galacticraft, Advanced Rocketry, and some fantasy themed pack with something like 25 dimensions that I can't remember the name of. Not that I am trying to discourage you from making a new modpack. I will also share that I personally do not like...

    Continuum, What went wrong?

I think there is room to innovate yet, albeit the door is closing pretty fast. IMO SevTech did an incredibly good job with innovation. Not only were there several lesser known mods but they were presented in a logical and realistic way (segmented by ages). You are right though. In the end, we...

    Draconic Armor is broken OP

I agree with this statement. While I love everything about DE, I made the energy core T8 and a reactor one time. Never again.

Old player looking for new pack to pick up

DireWolf20 tends to be the defacto learning pack. If you want more challenge, Skyfactory 3 is a fantastic pack all about automation. If you want a bigger challenge still, try SevTech. It is a gated progression pack that will really make you think. My current preferred pack is Enigmatica 2. It is...

    Continuum, What went wrong?

The E-Fab turned me off pretty fast.

Besides MC, what have you been playing lately?

If joining the EQ1 EMU servers is appealing to you, I can be found on discord as Mythrodin #4748. I could tell you about the server I am on and offer a little help to get you started. /cheers

Most Complex Mods in All of Minecraft?

I wanted to share I started a new playthrough on Enigmatica 2. This pack is full of mods I really enjoy and mods I want to learn. For sure on this playthrough, I want to learn NuclearCraft and actually get Mekamism 5x ore processing up and running. Played Mekanism many times and had 3x...

Most Complex Mods in All of Minecraft?

Never even heard of NuclearCraft. I did build a nuclear reactor from one of the older mods once and enjoyed that. I will definitely take a look at NuclearCraft. Botania is a great mod. I played it several times but never "finished it" if you will. I should pick it up again soon.

Most Complex Mods in All of Minecraft?

Really it is personal opinion on grind vs complex. I never played GT but from what I have read, it seems to be a grind for the sake of extending play time. I could be wrong though.

Most Complex Mods in All of Minecraft?

Good call. I tried Deep Resonance when it was first released and it has tons of bugs. I'll give that one a go again.

Most Complex Mods in All of Minecraft?

I prefer the 1.10+ era, but that doesn't mean I couldn't load up the 1.7 genre.

Most Complex Mods in All of Minecraft?

I make it a point to learn at least 1 new mod on every playthrough of Minecraft. This playthrough I (finally) learned EviromentalTech, WOOT, and Xnet. On my list to learn next is Steve's Factory Manager and Advanced Generators. (I know advanced generators is not particularly hard, I've just not...
