No, and honestly that would be too OP in my opinion. What pack are you playing? The pump uses very little RF, and there are early game wireless power transfer items you can use, and if you don't care about storing/using the fluid, liquid trash cans are a thing (if you have them in your pack)...

The pump from Industrial Foregoing replaces liquids with cobblestone.

Easiest way is to set up a buffer chest of sorts, have the drops go there first, then filter (blacklist) bows in a line to your AE system, then send another line from the buffer with a filter (whitelist) for bows to either trash them or if you want to, stick them in another chest to sort through...

FTB seems to be in a weird kinda limbo spot right now, with them de-coupling from Curse/Twitch. Last I heard a new launcher was in the works, and if that is so, I'm quite certain pack development is taking a back seat to that.

Vanilla method would be to use ice blocks, and break them with a non-silk touch pick. Broken Ice blocks = Water Source.

This annoys me as well. Take MC Eternal for example. You need to craft a White Bed... no other bed will allow for the quest to complete, locking you out of progression down that line... Why?

I think the thing for me is that the FTB team are a bit stuck in the past when it comes to modpacks. Unstable packs used to be interesting, but there hasn't been one of those for a while now, their 'hard mode' pack fell flat on it's face for being a major time sink on mods that people didn't...
