LordPINE: Good points. Nuclear_Creeper0: Agreed. FTB's calling card (IMO) was well curated/balanced packs, until Interactions, but that was due to mostly one mod and it's time gated crafting. A return to well put together packs/maps is what I'm seeing from the both of you... Anyone else?

It's a mod called MineTogether (IIRC) It basically puts your chat into a large chat server. You can safely remove the mod, or click on the tab in the chat window to hide it.

If you just purchased the game, it does take some time for the authentication servers to update.. Give it a bit, then if it doesn't let you log in, contact Mojang, not FTB... FTB has nothing to do with the purchase, nor customer service for Minecraft itself.

This is true, yes, but those programs also offer to put a shortcut on your desktop at the end of installation... Basic stuff here guys... come on...

Funny thing.... I did that, the FTB program does not show up in my uninstall list, but there is still an exe in my downloads folder (FTBA_windows-x64_1_0_5) with 0kb that even as an administrator, i can not delete because I need admin permissions.... I'm not that technically declined, but...

Tried to download the launcher, double clicked on it to install/start from my download files.. It downloads some stuff, then it disappears... I try to download/run it again and it asks if i want to fix the previous installation, but I can't find the damned thing.. No launcher... also says...

Talk to your server owner, make sure they allow chunk loaders in the first place. Most servers put a restriction on them (as in how many chunks you can have loaded)

Again, the game has to be running for the chunks to be loaded... So if you are not on a server, you will need to keep the game running to load chunks.

If you are on a server, yeah you can use any mod that has a chunk loader available. If you are playing single player, you will still use the chunk loader, but will need to keep the game running. Signed: Captain Obvious. :)
