    RC/ReC/ElC/CC Policy Changes

I believe once you hit a wall and contain the entity you could register where the wall is, could you not? Then just do some parsing around your entity for blocks in the range (once you hit a block in one of the directions it can spread you can ignore that direction for that spot). Then when it...

    Werewolf Organisation: Electric Boogaloo Redux

The best way to play that strategy it to keep roleblocking that person, but keep them alive. The wolves lose one of their primary advantages and if you can then deduce some villagers you can tell them that they shouldn't trust that person

    RC/ReC/ElC/CC Policy Changes

Considering many of the types of players that would enjoy reactor meltdowns I would guess they could edit a config file...in fact I think that should be possible for almost any user Standards are meant to be set by you, that doesn't mean that it is the common implementation. LISP has a...

    RC/ReC/ElC/CC Policy Changes

That is not the design flaw. It was designed for that situation perfectly. But not adding the other option is the design flaw. Expanding scope so that people can use your mod to create a vast variety of experiences is a good thing, not allowing that is a design flaw if enough people want the...

Instead of reiterating what others have said... I completely understand the design, it is great design in fact. But sometimes it doesn't fit with the kind of experience the modpack author is intending to create

To clarify what they are saying. The reactor meltdowns are not a design flaw, not allowing them to be configurable is. I love reactor meltdowns, but they don't fit certain packs.

That's a difference in the mechanic of conversion, not of the choice of power systems :P

    RC/ReC/ElC/CC Policy Changes

Conversion is not full power system integration. RoC has magnetostatics, it is not an RF mod :P

Don't have time to respond to the whole argument. However, this in particular is plain wrong. Many mods have some kind of unique power system (most magic mods do in fact), but I do not see anyone demanding that Botania and Thaumcraft have the same power system.

You have pretty much just said the problem with general AI :P Now let me try to chew on your argument for a bit True, however that inherently means that unless we change the environment it is better. Thus it is the best solution because changing an environment is much harder than changing...

    RC/ReC/ElC/CC Policy Changes

I would like your opinions on the second half also before I write a full counter-argument. However, I believe that the uninformed majority is worth considering, but they should have a significantly smaller impact than the active and informed. The uninformed majority is concerned with the end...

    RC/ReC/ElC/CC Policy Changes

The people who will ultimately determine if your mod is popular are the active members of the community because those are the members that create modpacks. And the majority of users that you are talking about play exclusively modpacks. Thus, if the active members dislike it the regular users...
