Might want to craft water buckets in the crafting window... It's fairly useful for cooking. Makes 1 bucket into 8 waters.

Well for the overall damage its the passive griefing. Mobs get bored and break blocks. It is of course possible for a creeper to blow up a wall, hit a patch of explosive gas just behind it and cause even more damage. The gas definitely CAN make it worse, but it's not the main damage source...

Dungeons being totally wrecked is from passive mob griefing, not from gases.

More of my unceasing questions! Eyamaz, what's the reasoning behind the switch to Cauldron for bukkit plugins instead of just using forge mods/having mods made which do the same thing? EDIT: Not that I'm against Cauldron, it's a reality of large server play. I'm just currently of the opinion...

You felt slow because you were walking on sand. :P Clay spawns under naturally spawning lakes and rivers. You'll need to make a stone crusher to double ores when you finish your smeltery.
