    Yes, apiaries, bee houses, industrial apiaries, chests, and anything else were fine. I'm guessing it's something with the forestry 4.x update. I also believe that if you put your bees in a chest or something before the update you should be fine.

    I recommend not using harvest golems with order upgrade. I've noticed that even if other crops are 10+ blocks away the harvest golems with order upgrade will screw up every single field. I've found it better to use a standard harvest golem and then place a Use golem for each type of crop.

    It does not strictly follow chunk boundaries from what I can tell. Every 3x3 chunks is an approximation or ballpark. Sometimes veins even overlap.
