OP? Not much, although they are a bit cheap. I like the old mechanic when things weren't planed out and it went wherever it went.
I haven't touched them yet actually, I just write small bits of the wiki :P
An updated version of Ultimate I don't think is truly possibly, since project red isn't yet a full replacement for redpower, and gregtech has changed so much it doesn't play well with most other mods anymore.
Maybe. It just looks that way to me. Looking around for 8 or 9 meteors, even with a compass, or even less of them if you play SMP, seems like too much work for some people here.

You can say whatever you want to, just that the "AE2 suckz I have to explore to do anything and theres luck n stuf and AE1 wuz so much better blah blah blah..." gets so repetitive after a while.
I don't think anything is how it's advertised. FTB is advertised as technical, even though it's (to me, at least) less technical then vanilla redstone.
I think it would be great if meteors were super-hard to find, I think it would be cool if for early game storage/automation stuff you could use logistics pipes, and then later upgrade to AE mid-game.
I guess this is pretty nice, since MPS is pretty OP. But the texture though - a style different from ic2 would be much preferred, especially since this isn't even an addon for ic2.
