Eh, I think Divine RPG is pretty much made to be standalone, although I'd like it if they updated it to the 1.6 version of the mod.

Anyone has permission to use bony's desertcraft (a mod I made in modjam 4) is their modpacks, as it is open-sourced under a creative-commons by-nc-sa 4.0 license. You cannot make money off it though (obviously). If you're going to use it, it would be cool to let me know though, kinda interested...

I've heard jaded say they wouldn't allow public 1.7 packs till the official packs come out, so they aren't limited because of packs with the concepts. What if we have a concept that the official FTB isn't going to use? Jaded has stated many times that there would be no gregtech balanced pack...

Check if you even have java. Edit: Oh, another theory, if you have java 8 that might break things too.

It shouldn't be hard if you have an IDE that does that for you :P

Yeah, but this is the official buildcraft modpack. It pretty much (in my eyes) makes any other modpack aimed at buildcraft/MJ balance obsolete.

Btw, you said something about a buildcraft/MJ balanced pack, although there's already the buildcraft official modpack...

There's probably a heck bunch of great modjam 4 that haven't been seen much.
