    Okay, another question, please. (Work is stressful today. Thinking about what I'm going to do tonight is stress relieving. Etc.) Is there something special about tilling land for planting seeds in this pack? I see only AgriCraft that's about crop growth and I don't think that causes this...

    So I can make my bridge between pure node areas but I'll have to clean the tainted bits off it from time to time until I can get a better/more permanent solution. Interesting. Thanks.

    Can someone point me to info on how taint spreads? Googling turns up mostly Thaumcraft 2 info which is not terribly helpful. I've gathered from this thread that it can't occupy the same space as ladders or torches, and I get the whole pure node and ethereal bloom thing as I've played at least...

    I think he may be saying that he doesn't see the crafting grid (the 2x2 one) in his inventory in the Spirit world. I haven't gotten there yet to know if that's a thing or not, or maybe he's on the wrong sort of inventory seeing as how there's three or more (baubles, etc.)?
