[1.7.10] Automata — RPG, HQM, Reputation Systems, Custom Ore Gen, Mystcraft Ages

You have journeymap linked as a misc download, but I can't figure out what version works. The two I tried said the following: "Forge: minimum version required is 10.13.2.1291" I didn't want to mess with the forge version because I'm not sure what effect it would have on the other mods. Is...

[1.7.10][HQM] Tame the World - Magic and Tech, Exploration, and Pain

By the way, this pack has something strange going on with the zombies running around at warp speed, which makes fighting them completely impossible as you can barely even see them, let alone swing fast enough to hit them. My guess is there's a strange interaction between the multitudes of mob...

[1.7.10][HQM] Tame the World - Magic and Tech, Exploration, and Pain

Going down the immersive engineering line, it tells me to break down ore with the hammer into grit. I've tried this every which way and I don't think it works that way any more. NEI says the grinder is the only way to make grit, making it impossible to finish the "Grit your teeth" quest at the...

    [1.7.10] Marooned

I agree with all of you about the need for spice of life to ramp up difficulty, I just felt like it's memory was set a bit high is all. I find it tedious to cycle through a bunch of food with hardly any benefits just to cycle back to food that gives me higher hunger. I can't make any food...

    [1.7.10] Marooned

Exactly the opposite there. "desert island" theme would dictate that you wouldn't be picky about eating the same thing over and over, because you are trying to survive. I understand the point is to make things more "difficult" (tedious is more accurate), but it's by no means fitting the theme...

    [1.7.10] Marooned

The first killing mission is "First Blood", and it doesn't give any clay as a reward. I've done just about everything I can up to the point of needing the clay. I've done the "Taint Nuttin" quest about 3 or 4 times, but the problem is none of my gardens are spreading across plain dirt, even...

again, what juicer? it requires clay to make.

    [1.7.10] Marooned

Maybe I'm an idiot here, but I've been playing on the savanna map, and I can't seem to figure out how to get water at all. I see the cactus recipe but it requires a bucket which I can't make. In fact, everything seems gated behind being able to get clay, which I can't get because it never...

try putting hoppers below the barrels, and mycelium around the barrels. mycelium doesn't have to be right under them to work.

That's exactly what I said. Re-read my post.

I can't remember if it's netherrack, soul sand, or end stone but one of them I think randomly gives a bit of GaAs. Edit: Nether quartz has it. Make some soul sand with witch water in a barrel (water barrel on mycellum) and sieve it for nether quartz, then decompose the nether quartz for GaAs.

And has been reported to the dev on his issues page a long time ago and I have to believe he just chooses to leave them like that. Silly that a machine keeps using energy without doing anything, but hey, it's his mod.

While I agree that hydrogen and carbon are good fuel items for things, my tree farms early game were multiple choppers outside my base, and at the time it was easier to just make stacks of planks from the logs I was taking out of the choppers than it was to carry a bunch of chems around with me...

Oh sweet! That looks awesome too! Zarvoxbe: I made a setup like yours with spruce trees. OMG! I didn't realize it grew those huge trees! I just let the logs fuel it since it's impossible to keep it fueled any other way without constant attention... I'm using a nuclearcraft tough alloy axe...

I used three vats, two with cellulose + carbon (from decomposing trees) feeding into one with gunpowder (from a mob farm) and redstone (made with iron and copper in the synth). I only have to add to it once in a while as it produces a decent amount of fuel per resource. I just couldn't get a...

I extensively used the vat to make fuel for the gas turbine generator, before I set up my fusion generator. At one point I tried making syngas to fuel it, but syngas production is horribly inefficient compared to using a vat and I wasted a ton of carbon (trees/coal blocks/etc) trying to keep it...

[1.7.10] Ingenuity - Are you Ingenious? ---- Where's all the usual mods?!?! o.O

ok, then my question is, what is the alternative for a low lag world interaction upgrade? I don't see one here.

[1.7.10] Ingenuity - Are you Ingenious? ---- Where's all the usual mods?!?! o.O

Maybe I just don't get what the thought behind your modpack is then. At first I thought it was "lets explore some new mods instead of using the same ones over and over". From my experience with this pack though, it feels like the mods in here don't even really add anything. Millenaire, while...

[1.7.10] Ingenuity - Are you Ingenious? ---- Where's all the usual mods?!?! o.O

Well, these things require bedrockium ingots: Bedrockium barrels need 6 each, and reinforced watering can needs 4. You can make these ingots individually for about 28k cobble and a block of diamonds, or you can get 9 ingots without needing any diamonds, but it costs an octuple compressed...

My point wasn't really "can I make it" as much as "what's the point when I can get the same thing for cheaper?" (referring to the energy storage, not the armor.) Also, you mentioned something about carrying an "awesomite core". Does that have some special undocumented function?
