Well Caithleen has been mia for several months now. The FTB folks took over support of Hypovolemia and were in the process of creating an update that would fix some/all/most of the quest glitches. It was more than a month ago, maybe more than a two months ago FTB claimed the update was ready...

Can you create new solo worlds and log into them? Also if you deleted and reinstalled the FTB launcher the configuration files would have been deleted too so you will need to reenter the information for any servers you were playing on.

Episode 24 of FTB Infinity Evolved Skyblock is now live. In it I prepare to make metal and mineral seeds by making an Induction Smelter.

An altar has a small hidden reservoir that has to be filled when it is built or modified. So as you add blood it shows up in the altar and then drains into this reservoir until it is filled. Anytime you build one or change its config, just keep adding blood and eventually it will stop draining it.

If it won't launch at all I'd back up any other FTB games you may have played or are playing and delete and reinstall the FTB launcher. Something may have gotten corrupted at some point. Also make sure you have the latest version of java installed. It might be that your specific game instance...

Yes, my thinking is if you are going to have a quest to make brine and its that difficult (I never go to that point of doing it), brine should be something you need. I couldn't tell if it was or just an arbitrary quest like the old Agrarian Skies, 'make me 10,000,000 potatos' type quests.

I am starting to have similar problems, my game crashes from time to time, sometimes it crashes right as it launches. I'm a little worried my world is becoming unstable.

Does anyone else have a problem as the world gets bigger that you start to get crashes here and there?

I think that may be another mod pack, there are a few sky block mod packs out there, FTB Infinity Evovled Skyblock is just one of several.

Geez is pursuing magic ridiculous. Every time I try to do something I find 10 steps I have to do before I can make progress. At least with machines once I build the machines I can use them down the road for other things, but man, making runes for the blood altar is crazy!
