There isn't a mod, that I know off, that auto updates everything for you; however, I think you should look at this thread and discussion.

From playing modded mc, to playing on servers, you seem to be in a small minority. A significant number of people, including me, have horrible performances issues, to say the least, on 1.8.x.

It would be so nice to do a full speed run-through of every pokemon game ever made. Give it, what, 3 weeks of non-stop no-lifing it? Just wish I had time... I know someone who literally has all the pokemon games. They can't even play the ones for the game boy color though... I'm just appalled...

@Velor Sometimes I get lag spikes when generating new chunks, only sometimes. I'm wondering if it's a certain type of thing being generated that is causing the lag?

@karmarcharger is right. It essentially is one block. What you are describing is a chain of simple 1 block machines. This is not to say that MRF doesn't have a place, it does, it's just a different type of mod than what you are trying to portray.
