You probably just need to reset the computer on the main island - there's a button behind a trapdoor inside the pyramid. Note it might take a little time for all the displays to fully update.

It's normal with all IC2 machines :( Right-click all machines with an IC2 wrench - never use a pickaxe.

That's my feeling. This mode does seem to be more for people getting used to mods.

You could try using a level emitter (or detector?) from refined storage to control the exporters. Also, you might be able to use the constructor to place the tnt and use the 'user' to ignite it.

To be honest, I think my idea will probably suffer from the same, or a similar, problem. Can I ask what you're actually doing with the 397 users?

From memory, item conduits from Ender IO have a 'round-robin' option, so they'll divide an input into (again, from memory) stacks of 8 and share them around. It's not a perfect solution like buildcraft's diamond pipes though.

EDIT: #4 IC2 Induction Furnace gives you black quartz as a reward. Oops - sorry mixed up the black quartz with the void crystal. It would be good to get confirmation on that. I seem to remember you could only do things in strict order on the original map, but it's not clear on this one.

Yeah, if Pam's is installed, I usually end up with some gourmaryllis', although they've been made a little harder to automate recently as feeding them the same food in succession gets you rapidly diminishing returns. Once you've got a system to alternate the food inputs, they're pretty hard to...

Haven't tested it lately, but I couldn't see anything on the changelog to say it had been changed. It might still be true and I haven't had problems with endoflames. Having said that, another possibility is having enough mana spreaders to 'suck' out all the mana quickly enough ... Endoflames...

Is 'advanced generators' in the pack? It doesn't have a converter, but the gas/steam turbines can output various levels of EU (as well as RF of course).

True - another alternative is the industrial foregoing laser drill - the blue lens gets both diamonds and platinum. You have to get a decent supply of pink slime going though.

You can smelt nickel ore in an induction smelter with cinnabar to get platinum as a 100% byproduct, and the cinnabar you can get as a byproduct from pulverising redstone ore, and silk touch is pretty easy to get on a tinkers pick.

Just to be sure, it's not a typo - Horiz=10 and Vert=1 are the defaults. If you're able to change configs though, you can bump both of these distances up to 16.
