I wish they had left it alone. I encourage mod devs to fix bugs but a complete overhaul (introducing a whole new slew of bugs) of something that worked fine before (buildcraft) is really annoying. The only explanation I can find is that these guys are bored.

The problem with annihilation planes is that they cannot be filtered. An easy way around that is to simply have an export bus filter the crystals into a buffer of some sort and then get imported into the main ae system. I used that trick to automate botania livingrock/wood as well.

AE2 doesnt do fluids, man. Extra cells, the AE2 addon does but it requires special fluid storage cells/busses.

Arcane bores seem like a lot of work for someone unwilling to invest the time to make a proper alchemy sorting setup.

Is it important that you must use pipes? Because golems are a lot easier. Although if you only want to fill a few jars, then attaching pipes attached to jars to your alchemical furnace setup is quite easy.

Thanks for the encouragement, because of this I resumed playing on the Eldaria map where I left off a few weeks ago. Currently, my "base" consists of a small fenced in area with a few machines, chests, a tunnel, a couple manual labor farms etc...just the basics. Ive rushed my usual early game...

I would retexture one of the chisel blocks to look like grass, but I know this is extremely advanced stuff for the average FTBer so I dont even know why I bothered suggesting it.

A while back I enjoyed a mod called thaumic expansion which had an RF powered auto-scanner type thing. But then the author updated it and it crashed my game whenever I would place the block. I havent tried it in quite a while, so maybe its been fixed.
