Those little things that irk you about Minecraft

I think you're thinking of another machine entirely, one that turns ReC steam into regular Railcraft steam (and only does so one-way). Again, I've not actually tested this, so I could well be wrong, but the only thing I know what pipe pumps work on are RotaryCraft fluid pipes. Though, a steam...

What cool little thing have you discovered today?

Aye, if I'm reading it right, the heat lamp can only connect to a block's solid sides.

That's queer, I could always just pop em on the front, set em to 35°C, and go.

Assuming you have ElectriCraft, you could make the RF transfer cables. They can transport any amount and are totally configurable, in that regard, no loss. Though, converting from RF in large amounts requires tremendous amounts of liquid nitrogen.

What cool little thing have you discovered today?

Once you go below Y48 (I think), aye. Also, it might not be checking for a roof so much as it is the block acting as insulation. But, aye, biome and time are fairly significant factors for fermenters. Tis typically why I do a little ChromatiCraft before RoC; heat lamps solve all temperature...

Alas, ReactorCraft steam isn't, technically, a fluid; you can't, for example, transport it with RotaryCraft bedrock pipes, only steam lines carry it and they store volume (m^3) instead of pressure (kPa). Granted, that's a bit of an oversimplification, but the jist is the same, meaning pipe...

Good god damn, dude. Why not just use a turbine generator? Though, I guess you'd need a setup like that if you want both shaft power and RF.

I dunno if you can add extra enchants to a bedrock sword, and that's about the only non-TiC weapon of which I can think that'd do enough damage.

Mod Feedback ChromatiCraft questions and suggestions

Aah, but if it were, we engineers would be out of a job. ;)

And that, children, is why I have multiple layers of protection other than armour: genetic modifications, pendants, heart canisters, ChromatiCraft abilities...

If you have ChromatiCraft, you can use the Chromatic Enchanter to make a Reaping V book, which you should be able to anvil on to something like a normal enchanted book.

Problem with number two is that it relies rather heavily on your faith in RNGesus. I've had several worlds that never seemed to spawn jungles on their own; if I wanted them, I invariably had to go to RFTools. Not much of a selling point.

    Endgame Power Storage Solution?

Oh! Re: fish battery, you could put the junk thru what amounts to a junk-eating generator from QuantumFlux for extra powah. That, or a recycler of some sort, to add in a wee extra loss.

    Endgame Power Storage Solution?

Hmm, let's math! One DSU is (2^63)-1 fish. Divide that by 524,288 and you get, rounded up, 4096 barrels of fish. Multiply that out, and you get 46,428,596,469,760 RF per DSU of fish!

    I'm not not implying that.

If all else fails, you could roll your own and maybe setup some sort of regular goals. Like, for the first few playthrus, you steadily work thru Thermal Expansion, then after that, you start to roll in some AgriCraft, then MFR, then fold that into learning RotaryCraft. Of course, this is just...

Not just them, but regular turbines needs the lube, too. This post was brought to you by Canola Technologies, courtesy of Advanced Logistics and created by Reika Kalseki. All rights reserved.

Doom. The latest one. It is pure, utter, unadulterated pleasure.

Fish battery...I can honestly say that I've never seen that before. Ingenious!

I've heard Steve's Factory Manager might be able to, somehow. I seem to recall folks using it to round-robin things into a RoC blast furnace, but I don't know how successful they were.
