Just go for it and expand on your temporary base. You can either start prettying up your temporary base, and turn it into your permanent base. Or you can start hunting for your perfect spot once you have your resource gathering and processing stuffs working. Don't stress on having everything...

I've made a bedrock tool rod. I want to run Manyullyn over it, but it isn't working. It isn't working for HSLA steel tool rod either. Molten iron, molten Manyullyn, none of them works for RoC's tool rods. I changed the tool rod to a slime tool rod and it worked. Maybe it's an ITT config option?

With mods that provides their own version of mob spawners, like EnderIO, MFR, Soul Stones, etc, the capability to move the spawners aren't that attractive anymore if the cost is a nether star. Even though most of the spawning mechanism requires power, but I'm sure no one is bitching about that...
