[1.7.10] Engineer's Toolbox - Now with programmable sockets!

It's a Waila bug. I've reported it to Prof. Mobius.

[1.7.10] Engineer's Toolbox - Now with programmable sockets!

The bit about end game was supposed to be in reply to another post that I never bothered to finish writing. Not sure why it showed up there, must be some sort of but in the forum software.

[1.7.10] Engineer's Toolbox - Now with programmable sockets!

I'm getting rid of facade support in favour of something else that will be unique to ET. It will be even easier than crafting covers and will work with pretty much any opaque normal cube block.

[1.7.10] Engineer's Toolbox - Now with programmable sockets!

It's a new gas that was introduced in GasCraft 2.0.4.0. It's an extremely hot gas, and when iron blocks are exposed to it, they turn into steel blocks. It can also be used in a Plasma Reactor (module). The other tanks of the socket must have Hydrogen and Propellent in the in order for the...

[1.7.10] Engineer's Toolbox - Now with programmable sockets!

Updates for Emasher Resource, Engineer's Toolbox, and GasCraft. I've added some new stuff to algae. There's now an item that you can make that will kill patches of algae (although, you have to wait a little while for the dead stuff to go away after). The item is made by combining a copper...

[1.7.10] Engineer's Toolbox - Now with programmable sockets!

Engineer's Toolbox 1.1.7.1 and GasCraft 2.0.4.1 are now out. Both just contain minor bugfixes.

[1.7.10] Engineer's Toolbox - Now with programmable sockets!

Engineer's Toolbox 1.1.7.0, Emasher Resource 1.2.2.0, and GasCraft 2.0.4.0 are now out. I know there are a few things that aren't exactly self explanatory in the new updates. I should have the new information on the wiki soon

[1.7.10] Engineer's Toolbox - Now with programmable sockets!

Not nearly high enough to put up with my awful textures. I'd recommend just using the Thermal Expansion conduits as my pipes are really only added for completeness, they were never going to be the best solution. It ONLY supports retro-gen. Rotating is something I might think about, but I'm...

[1.7.10] Engineer's Toolbox - Now with programmable sockets!

Definitely read the socket basics and machines pages on the wiki before you try anything. It's a complicated mod, and not one that can simply be understood intuitively. The extra flexibility you get comes with that price. The main thing is understanding how the 3 inventories, tanks, etc. system...

[1.7.10] Engineer's Toolbox - Now with programmable sockets!

I suppose a config option wouldn't hurt, but I'm not going to work out new default numbers to keep balanced with the MJ mods, and especially not Gregtech. The less powerful other power generation methods get, the more likely people are to just use lava, which is boring. With hydrogen you...

    They are normal fluids.

[1.7.10] Engineer's Toolbox - Now with programmable sockets!

Basically. The fluid extractor can only pull from IFluidHandlers (tanks machines, etc.), not source blocks. The output can only interact with those (and pipes) as well. The distributor is indeed a round robin, and the selected inventory/tank is excluded if one is selected. Keep in mind that the...

[1.7.10] Engineer's Toolbox - Now with programmable sockets!

My finals finished yesterday and that means updates for Emasher Resource (1.2.1.8), Engineer's Toolbox (1.1.6.6), and GasCraft (2.0.3.2). The full changelog is on the wiki, but it's mostly all bugfixes. There are a few new features though: Flat Bedrock compatibility for GasCraft (config...

    Automated Mining in Horizons

On that note, another advantage is that there's no penalty for starting underground. The husher can start mining right away without clearing out terrain for a frame.

    Automated Mining in Horizons

You'll only ever have flowing water if you run into a cave or something. It places a source block every time it mines a block, so once it's done, it won't cause any more lag than an ocean. The real downside is that it's a lot more complicated to set up than a quarry (especially if you're using...

    Preferred ore doubler of choice?

If all you're doing is doubling ores, ET's method is pretty similar to the others (aside from getting one dust that smelts into two ingots). It's not until you start tripling ores that it get's interesting and you have to worry about setting up and feeding a kiln and everything.

[1.7.10] Engineer's Toolbox - Now with programmable sockets!

Hydrogen from GasCraft (or any of the GasCraft gases) aren't compatible with hydrogen from other mods. GasCraft relies on fluids being implemented a certain way, and if another mod registered hydrogen first, the whole thing just wouldn't work, so it had to be unique. Unless Mekanism specifically...

I just thought I should mention now that it's out, ET and GasCraft are included in FTB Horizons.

Engineer's Toolbox 1.1.6.5 is now out. It just fixes a few minor bugs.
