sevenmass is right for an automatic method, but there is an easy manual method. The blend recipes from te accept a portable tank filled with the relevant fluid as a replacement for a bucket with said fluid.

are u sure they are playing expert mode? they could be playing normal mode.

as far as i remember the player character can hold so little of it(chaos energy) in there own body and that bar might hide when not in use in this case.

if u want something more automatic(also not needing to afk in a certain tiny spot) u could try a build with a resourceful furnace cooking stuff (the build would just need to get a way to not need external item inputs, maybe a cobble gen?or a sand gen would cover that part)

continuum would only give you a butchered view of a few new mods.(as monster was not a pack with big recipe tweaks continuum also fails that) Revelation is a good one to try though for that feel i agree. as for a second one that uses common but (relatively) new mods the direwolf20 pack for 1.12...

as far as i remember the villagers breed by having food "around" them , its just more automatic to have the villagers harvest it themselves. So toss the villagers food and they will grab the dropped "food" items at some pt(probably) and use it to breed. (after thought note: i HATE creeper...
