How to filter items out in a itemduct

Easily. Add pneumatic servos then right click a connection to use the GUI on the ducts to filter. Add a nullifier to your network and it'll take care of it. Just set your filters up correctly.

What's new in modded minecraft today?

This is news to me! When was it released? The twitter didn't say anything about it. >.> No seriously, I'm pretty sure that's still WIP.

    What is RF?

I actually said nothing of the sort. I stated what RF can do, not what BuildCraft can't do. And yes, you can do all of those things with MJ. You just have to work through a Helper Gremlin and its deputies. And you give up direct access to your own power. And you have forced loss, even when you...

New RF Mod (In Progress Looking for Suggestions)

Funny story - TE originally didn't have ore doubling from the Pulverizer, it needed the Smelter for that and was a different mechanic. Which, btw, if you're keeping track, of the original 8 TE machines, the furnace and pulverizer were literally the only overlap with IC2. Reconfigurable sides...

    What is RF?

These are both fair assessments - HOWEVER - it should be noted that RF is a freeform API. That is the entire point. Can RF be lossy? Yes. Can machines burn it idly? Yes. Can RF producers explode if not tended to? Yes. Can dynamos be more efficient than generators? Yes. Can RF generation and...

New RF Mod (In Progress Looking for Suggestions)

It's hardly the first time we've seen, "I'm going to make TE except bigger/better/faster." Personally I'd like to see mods not reinvent the wheel and add shinier rims, but cest la vie on that one. RF should form the basis of something great, I'm hoping people start to use it that way. The...

    What is RF?

You'll have to wipe out the entire world. Because it's a 1.7 change.

    So Ender IO dimensional transceivers

It happened back when 3.0.0.0 released. It was fixed months ago. However, people have been unusually terrible about updating their mods in the 1.6.x era.

    So Ender IO dimensional transceivers

[citation needed] Seriously. Crash log for the most recent TE please. :)

    What is RF?

Is it the first night of a new game? Cuz you been livin' under a rock. I kid. ;) Seriously though, it's been the energy system for Thermal Expansion 3 since release. Virtually every mod in MC supports it. There's some confusion with MJ because energy conduits (soon to be Fluxducts) convert...

    So Ender IO dimensional transceivers

They're cheaper and point-to-point. To my knowledge, you can't link multiple of them together. One block per one inventory. They also allow you to access the connected inventory remotely. A Tesseract is purely transport. For simply moving things, the Tesseract is better. For interaction, use...

    Multiple cross-dimensional tesseracts not working

If the Itemduct was not accepting the items, there was a good reason for it.

New RF Mod (In Progress Looking for Suggestions)

Whoa now. There's a difference between CoFHCore and CoFHLib. The RF API is in CoFHLib. Also, keep in mind that the 1.7 versions are both non-finalized. The mods that have already added RF support for 1.7 are going to have some minor changes to do.

Update on the Future of FTB Modpacks in 1.7

The bugs and strange behaviors were basically caused by the fact that the BC power API was equal parts obtuse and absurd at the time. People were overriding classes to achieve what they needed to, and even the primary maintainers of BC didn't get it right. And that's not a slight against them at...

    New to modding (as developer)

Think of something you want in the game. Make it happen. :) Yeah, that's vague, but what's something quirky that you feel MC could use and currently doesn't have? Make use of the great APIs out there. CoFHLib and Core aren't ready for 1.7, or I'd definitely recommend them. Start small, and be...

New RF Mod (In Progress Looking for Suggestions)

Uh...no? All of the "random" ingredients make sense, although Minetweaker has *significantly* altered what the "default" recipes are. As above...the Energetic Infuser does not require Ender Pearls. The recipe has been jacked with.

^ This right here. The sky ain't falling, people.

Update on the Future of FTB Modpacks in 1.7

So, I'm going to chime in: RF and TE are not the same thing. RF can indeed have loss over distance. The point of RF is that it's a freeform API and allows people to work on a common system quite easily. It's a lot like the fluid API. That's why RF is a great thing. People are conflating the two...

Redstone Flux Jetpacks? (In spirit of conversion to total Thermal Expansion)

We've been supportive of the guy the entire time. Z helped him with a code rewrite and he's making use of parts of CoFHLib/CoFHCore now. Both of which will be visible source in 1.7. (Not sure if open or not, that's up to skyboy and Z.) I'm just hanging around on the sidelines, too much RL stuff...
