    o_0 I agree with you more than you know, and a lot of modders do as well, in so far as the one version thing. Thankfully, 1.7, for all of its flaws, is probably a pretty good one to stick with for a while. The ID changes are good.

    Oh I don't dislike it. FMP is a brilliant concept, and I think FMP-compatible ducts would be great. Thing is, we also need a *non-FMP* version of the duct as well just incase those bugs can't be ironed out.

    The FMP-caused bugs and problems with ducts? Because that's the part I hate. I can't say there won't be an FMP-compat version at some point; I think ChickenBones has offered to make one. But given the issues with FMP at this time, it'd be suicidal to continue down the path.

    Speed isn't the issue. The item does take multiple ticks to travel through the pipe. The problem is that the pipe can't handle the concept of an item leaving and then re-entering that same pipe in the same tick, which can in fact happen with teleportation.

    Unless wooden pipes have had a massive redesign, a Tesseract shouldn't even see them as a valid inventory. Tesseract / Pipe functionality was disabled due to BuildCraft having unsafe data structures which could cause a world to permanently crash.

    As far as sounds, it's something I never did because I fall into the, "they're incredibly annoying" camp. With the current sound loop bugs in 1.7.2, I definitely wouldn't want them to have sounds. If Z and skyboy come up with a clever way to do it (and OPTIONAL), then I think they will. Who knows.

    Alternatively, go into your TE config and disable Fluid.Glowstone.Float. I'm really surprised nobody ever does this.
