    Buildcraft has (more) awesome features

For the love of Notch, can we have a thread without certain people bitching endlessly that other people have a different idea of balance?! To discuss the actual topic at hand, I'm glad to see BuildCraft is working more on their gates. I started modded Minecraft with the FTB Ultimate pack, so I...

Transferring items to and from a specific slot?

I'm working on automating RotaryCraft's extractor. While piping items from different sides doesn't have any different effect, you can insert them into specific slots. I think turtles can do it, but my experiments with OpenPeripherals have been...unsuccessful. I've managed to get it done with 3...

    Opinions on blood magic

There's some nice earlier stuff though. Sigil of the Fast Miner is quite useful, since it gives you Haste II as long as it's active. The lava sigil lets you place a lava source block anywhere, but costs a bit of LP.

RotaryCraft excess torque/speed effect on machine output

Producing jet fuel has actually been easier than I thought. The reagents aren't always used up (like the fermenter), so you can get some mileage out of them. I'm macerating blaze rods for 5x output, and using glue balls (rubber logs in a TE sawmill) for the slime in magma creams, and I've been...

    Why isn't Monster getting attention?

I turned off the engine noise before I ever tried to get deep into RotaryCraft. It will drive you bonkers otherwise. There's apparently a setting to dampen the noise without losing it, but I'm fine with none at all for now. I have to agree on Let's Plays, but mostly because everyone seems...

    1.6.4 Modpack releases

I can completely understand not wanting to justify every mods inclusion, but would you be willing to comment on whether FTB has any plans for a new Mekanism/UE pack? If there's enough interest, would you be willing to include a fan made pack focusing on them? I'm not familiar enough with them to...

RotaryCraft excess torque/speed effect on machine output

Well that's a little better, but stage 2 is still the one I may need more sides on.

    Why isn't Monster getting attention?

I've been playing it since release and been loving it. True, I've disabled some mods and added others. [spoiler] Disabled: Mariculture Meteorcraft Geostrata Gascraft Roguelike Dungeons ATG (too little biome variety for my taste) Added: Gravisuite (I'm surprised this wasn't in!) [spoiler]...

RotaryCraft excess torque/speed effect on machine output

On another thread, I saw a setup using 2 extractors, one for 1&4, the other for 2&3. It was a creative mode test though, so I've been working on getting that up in my survival world. I've got the 1&4 one up and running, but I need to make the 1x16 gearbox for the other. Itemducts are pulling out...

What exactly is offensive about being told to play in creative mode?

Thing is, there's as much variety in play styles as in beer. I love a nice dark Imperial Stout of Rotary Craft. While it's got that bitter taste of crafting components and machines to make other machines, that coffee flavor pairs really well with the rest of the beer. In contrast, I can see the...

What exactly is offensive about being told to play in creative mode?

No, mod authors who require ender pearls are. It's the one item that makes me miss EE3. I'd even take an 8 diamonds to one ender pearl trade with how annoying they are to get. Currently, I've been saving mimichite for when I need them. Back on topic: arguments that insult a person or their play...

Thermal Expansion 3.0!!! No More Beta! Thanks KL!

It's not pumping, but a Magma Crucible will net you RF if you're using netherrack for lava.

A Beginner's Guide to RotaryCraft (Or: Oh god where do I start with this?!)

http://www.reddit.com/r/feedthebeast/comments/1urunx/rotarycraft_a_beginners_guide_or_oh_god_where_do/ It's definitely a WIP, but I've seen a lot of people asking for help on Rotary Craft and not much collected info. I did my best to keep it down to a manageable size, so I tried to write it as...

Rotarycraft - the mindblower and builds

    Destabillized Redstone...Energized Glowstone

Check what the liquid glowstone does. The fluid registry seems to have issues sometimes, but it usually doesn't actually break recipe lines. If Redstone conduits are made from that liquid glowstone, you should be fine. No clue what causes this though.

Rotarycraft - the mindblower and builds

In the latest builds (not sure about Horizons), leaves and vines give 2x the output of saplings, so it is worth it to use them instead. I also noticed he added Forestry Ethanol support (I was hoping for that!), but when I poked around NEI I couldn't find just how it was added. There don't...

Why don't people like IC2 anymore?

Let's look at electronic circuits, one of the most common items. 1. Have iron ore, copper ore, rubber all smelted 2. Resmelt iron 3. Make a copper cable with rubber and copper 4. Make an electronic circuit Now: 1. Have iron ore, copper ore, rubber all smelted 2. Make an iron plate 3. Make a...

    Monster modpack mob farming?

Post the finished system of you get it working. I haven't seen much done with the spawner controller yet.

I found some gigantic oak trees. How do I grow more of them?

Biomes o Plenty and Tinkers Construct both add scythes. I think TiC's have better range. It's easy to forget just how useful they can be until you bother to make one.

    AE spatial storage?

It seems to be a way of storing chunks (well, 3D blocks in space) in an AE system and later placing them. However, I've heard it takes tons of power and I've seen no testing on how it plays with mod blocks. If you mess with it in creative, please post your findings here.
