Not sure what you're getting at here. Java Minecraft is always on PC anyway, and I have a modest little beast and it still takes me forever to load a pack, too.

Putting together a custom modpack is a pain in the butt. If your issue is that you're getting 1 frame every few seconds when you look in a direction, it's 100% an entity issue. What's causing that entity issue can be tough, but that's what it always is. I've run into the same issues on my own...
