That's because pam registers their salt as oreSalt(god knows why since it's not an ore), and mine is registered as dustSalt & foodSalt. And TE automatically adds ore* to dust* recipes to it's pulverizer.

I'm not even sure I'd consider that a bug, The rod's intended to be able to be used as a battery as well, since it uses one in crafting it, so is able to be filled and drained. Just sounds like two mods doing what they're supposed to, just it doesn't have the effect you'd really desire :p

It's really only the ocean world gen of mariculture that's the 'hog', and oyster rendering.
