What's new in modded minecraft today?

I think it is the real one. I would already assume that it is the real one, but I did check the donate link and it went to the same place as the technic donate link. ============ Sad that it is a jar mod.

Happy 4th of July from Forestry

Maybe I should make my mods do something on Australia day.... and maybe ANZAC day... and maybe stop working for a minute at 11am on November 11.

[Donation System] WooMinecraft - A WooCommerce Minecraft Bridge (Open Source)

Not sure how open Ichun will be to the idea, but having hats (which are purely cosmetic) available for purchase may be inside what the EULA allows.

Dropbox is closed source and would probably be hard to implement properly as well as open to exploitation (link a dropbox to the server that contains a not-very-nice folder (e.g. large files) and dropbox will mirror it.) I was thinking of a one-time password from minecraft to login to the web...

I was actually thinking on making a mod with an inbuilt server so you could connect to the server and have an in-browser editor (like this) to avoid the cycle of having to re-upload (oh, don't forget to delete the one you had) once you edit with a more powerful editor.

Yes, having everyone able access the whole game, just with a bit more effort/time is totally not pay-to-win. (yes that was an attempt at sarcasm) If you disagree, aren't you just arguing about how much tedium/effort/timesaving is acceptable?

    Recent Events Discussion (RED) Thread

I'm wondering how not sending the data when they are not looking would affect F5 and the mechanism of players names showing through walls. It would only take a griefer with a file sharing (e.g. dropbox) account and the means to tell other people the link (forums, youtube clips, etc.)

Note: I haven't used PiP or seen the code, so what I say may be off The problem with PiP is that the client is already given the other players location and rotation as long as they are nearby (I imagine the same distance that PiP works in), so you just need the code to give a view of the world...

I thought of creating a browser-based editing system for CC computers. This is how I thought it would work: On a computer/turtle you run a command (say "remoteAccess") The chat gives you a url to visit in browser with a one-time-password You can view and edit the scripts on the turtle and...

What's new in modded minecraft today?

Actually, both mods don't modify the jar. They don't even change classes at runtime (what coremods do). They are just using java introspection. The class file posted was just not inside a package (well from the source anyway). Very similar to dartpatch. Note: Soure is present, or licence...

"[STDOUT] You have some mods with DRM, you must remove these to continue"

It raises an event if something is not right. Forestry is one mod, that when it encounters the event, crashes the game. I just add a message to the log. However, every mod gets the event even if only 1 mod is in error.

Still around https://github.com/MinecraftForge/FML/blob/master/src/main/java/cpw/mods/fml/common/Mod.java#127 https://github.com/MinecraftForge/FML/blob/master/src/main/java/cpw/mods/fml/common/event/FMLFingerprintViolationEvent.java You need to create a key in a keystore, then sign the jar.
