"If you don't like it, go play something else." This is a reasonable statement.
"If you don't like my comment read someone else's." This is not a reasonable statement.
Just for clarification: you can have a different opinion on the above. Your opinion will just be wrong.
Check the configuration. I recall looking at Continuum's config for ore excavation, and there's a list of viable blocks. There's also a "invert" property that is (I believe) set to true and which is turning that list into a whitelist or blacklist (I forget which).
@Brotuulaan I can't answer your question directly, except to say that the reactor code will process components in the same order every time which probably accounts for the imbalance.
But I don't suppose the sites you mentioned include a long string of letters and numbers, or possibly include...
fwiw, it happens with ALL gregtech axes (and chainsaws).
Its particularly handy with trees that grow without branches, such as spruce or fir. In fact, you'll have a much harder time getting your steam industry going without leveraging this mechanic.
This is just generally a great response. I don't agree on all your points, but appreciate the way they're delivered.
The "trick" is "grind for a short while to earn the tool that improves things." In continuum I believe there are machines that restore the vanilla wood ratio.
And my concern...
There are no stupid questions. And if you're planning to play IT2 I hope you're in the mood to ask lots of them :)
A modpack (FTB or otherwise) is a collection of mods. And yes you can definitely add mods to Infitech2 just be aware of any balance implications you might be incurring.
Ironically, a "Gregtech Community Edition" was put into alpha status today. While it won't have all the features, and it won't be (at all) stable, I can at least say that we can look forward to GT 1.12 of some sort in the near future.
Yes, but the way you see it is objectively incorrect. (I have a job, wife, 4yo and 2mo, and virtually zero time for any pointless activity. So you know where I'm coming from.)
This isn't an insult. You agree that not everyone has the exact same capacity to see things from wider angles...
