You need to add items to the emerald pipes filter, or switch it to an empty blacklist. It defaults to an empty whitelist, which means "allow no items".

Actually, i think they are the same speed with a wooden engine. I believe Emerald is only faster when powered by a more powerful engine.

From what I was reading agricraft is supposed to return a list of "potential" harvests to the drum, then the drum tells agricraft what got harvested. Agricraft was always providing the same list, so would get to a point where all crops selected by the drum were already harvested, so nothing more...

Um, it doesnt work. The author of agricraft found a bug with his interface to it, but AFAIK a build with the fix doesnt exist yet.

IIRC the drawer controller only has a range of 12 blocks or so. Any drawer outside of that range is not part of the network.

To give you additional blocks you can use like the controller. The slaves function just like a controller other than that they need a controller in the same drawer network to function.

Not talking about long distances or as a piping network. As I said in an earlier post "a block". It is a useful alternative for wooden pipes in the fairly early game since it will never spew items all over the place, and can filter items (a single item only) like an emerald pipe long before you...

Well, I wont deny I'm strange... But there is no "waste of resources" in regrowth, it is all infinite. Its also useful if you need to "lmport" from any side other than the bottom of a block, something a hopper simply can't do. Finally, it gives you import, export, filter, and the ability to...

Correct, except unlike hoppers, this can have any side be input or output, can have multiple inputs and outputs, and has a 64 stack built in buffer.

I cant provide a picture right now, but a good example is my cobbleworks. I have barrels for fire and earth essence enderlinked to my farms. These are placed next to an auto-assembler configured to make cobble. A barrel with ender and hopper upgrades is also placed against the assembler...

I use barrels with hopper upgrades quite a bit instead of pipes in the early game. If you only have to go a block, and you dont care about the 64 stack buffer (which could be a good thing depending on what you are doing) its not a bad way to go. Will never drop items into the world, and will...

I have had mixed results with that. Typically what i do is pipe into barrels with void upgrades, the use hopper upgrades in the barrels to pump output into the drawer controller. Never get any spillover that way.

As Rehab0holic said, red pipe wire and gates. Im using them as a fairly expensive lever, but hey, this is regrowth I have no shortage of materials!

As far as the Alumentum factory. The three alumentum barrels are ender linked together. The cobble and coal barrels are ender linked to other subsystems that produce them fom essences. There is an additional barrel on the back that pumps coal into the Thaumatorium. All the barrels use hopper...

Here are some pictures of my prototype setup. Going back and testing I did indeed greatly overestimate the number of engines that could be supported. This system will support up to 18 industrial steam engines for ~1440 RF/t. Alumentum production: The Boiler: And a shot of the engines: The...

They do not blow up anymore unless power gets trapped in them IIRC. You do need to make sure to use pipe plugs to prevent power loops. When I get a chance I will post pictures of my prototype setup from my creative world, since everything for that one is all together. In my actual play world I...

Since everything is infinite once you get set up, who cares about the efficiency of the boiler? I use a max size (3x4x3) HP boiler, with a solid fueled firebox, and use Alumentum for fuel. The Alumentum is auto crafted from excess coal, fire essence, and earth essence from my farms, and is used...

What cool little thing have you discovered today?

Yes, I believe just about any rectangular shape is supported. For automated systems I tend to use 2x2's a lot.

What cool little thing have you discovered today?

I discovered that the tinkers construct smeltery can share structure blocks with other smelteries allowing for more compact multi smeltery setups. In fact, they can share seared tanks too, so you can have a single seared tank fueling two smelteries. Perhaps this is well known... But it was new...

    @thephoenixlodge - Looks like the Compacting Drawers do not recognize that Osmium Blocks, Ingots, and Nuggets are compact-able. I fixed this by adding the following to misc.zs: import mods.storagedrawers.Compaction; Compaction.add(<Mekanism:BasicBlock:0>, <Mekanism:Ingot:1>, 9);
