Advanced Solar now requires advanced iridium AND IC2 iridium?

The cost of making scrap is nothing relative to the energy saved when making UU matter. Not to mention how right now the replicator doesn't use any EU.

Advanced Solar now requires advanced iridium AND IC2 iridium?

It takes 9 million EU. Whether that counts as comically expensive or not I guess is down to you.

How do you like mods to be balanced?

Single block farms were 1.4.7 and below ;)

Advanced Solar now requires advanced iridium AND IC2 iridium?

Advanced Solars doesn't generate iridium. You can use the Molecular Transformer to turn an iron ingot into an iridium ore (the IC2 one, that can be turned into the AS one BTW), but that's the only iridium method it adds. Oh, and it's been this way for about 2-3 years now. If you really don't...

Changing Machine Mod bye bye IC2?

RotaryCraft - First release 1.4.7 EnderIO - First release 1.6.2 Extra Utilities - First pretty patchy release 1.5.1 It's not newer at all compared to much greatly featured and used mods. RC is liked, RC is hated, the same way any mod is. Rekia's rules on what modifications can be done to it's...

Changing Machine Mod bye bye IC2?

You could basically condense the OP down to that. Everything else is just context and extra (optional) information.

Changing Machine Mod bye bye IC2?

Ironic really how generally Reika's mods themselves have what you would describe as a cult due being so infrequently used in packs, yet you attach that to forcing progression and deliberately crashing. Describing people who use a mod as a cult purely as it isn't mainstream is quite unfair, just...

    Warning everyone look now

/r/Minecraft has more than just the vanilla world covered, no one think of looking there? http://www.reddit.com/r/Minecraft/comments/3e88ia/psa_all_servers_are_down/

Is there way to detect recipe conflict?

Yeah, that would make sense. Right now in terms of being replaced literally only the recipes are commented out in the recipes.ini file, so they are designed to be easy to add back in until a point where the replacements feel right. Being IC2 fluids they are a little more complicated than just...

Is there way to detect recipe conflict?

Removed in favour of the kinetic forms. There's a bug on the tracker about electric boats being uncraftable (that ironically I added a few hours ago). The liquids are made in different ways, I can explain for each one if you want, most should be on the wiki though. They never had a recipe...

    Which IC2 recipes are missing?

Changing Machine Mod bye bye IC2?

I wouldn't say RotaryCraft or Immersive Engineering is what I had in mind when I said there's plenty more that could be done. RotaryCraft isn't centred on RF at all and all Immersive Engineering adds is another form of RF ore processing and some more multiblocks to break across chunk boundries...

Changing Machine Mod bye bye IC2?

I realise you didn't say this because, but one of the points is valid. EU itself is quite inflexible in that you're following IC2's rules, and short of having deep knowledge of how it works to change that (and a little bit of good old hacking) you can't change how it works (but there is an addon...

Changing Machine Mod bye bye IC2?

You said there is no other mod using IC2's API specifically, when Railcraft does for converting EU into charge and steam into EU, Extra Utilities uses it to allow energy nodes to accept EU, Binnie's mods all use EU, Immersive Engineering uses it to move EU in it's Factorio wires, and the list...

Changing Machine Mod bye bye IC2?

Never once did I say it was better (here at least ;)). I just don't like people talking rubbish about it when what they are saying is rubbish. We're all free to play with what we want and should be grateful we still can.

Your list is the wrong order, don't play it should be at the top, can prove from experience. Under your RF is electricity logic, coal is also electricity as there are mods that use it to power their machines.

Changing Machine Mod bye bye IC2?

MJ used to require Buildcraft to use as well, as did UE and it's Volt-Amp system, it's the way the world used to work. The principle of a separate API for your power system just exposes it to be exploited. Just build a Big Reactor and power everything RF with that compared to IC2 that sets a...

Changing Machine Mod bye bye IC2?

That is because it is the IC2 API for the IC2 mod. The RF API is the API for using RF power. Notice the difference? The statement itself is wrong because any more interfacing with EU uses it, as well as mods adding recipes using IC2 items can call the itemstacks directly and use it's crafting...

Changing Machine Mod bye bye IC2?

If they didn't add anything why does everyone complain there's no documentation? Experimental has added tonnes but people don't notice because they'd rather have the next new RF mod. There are more addons to IC2 now than when experimental started with a lot more range of content, even if IC2's...
