I left for a variety of reasons. The biggest reason (that I'll state publicly) was that I felt I wasn't being useful at all. I came back because I missed people. I also realized that being part of a group helps improve the overall quality of the projects for everyone involved.

For me personally, I'd have to say either the original Phoenixcraft or Pathfinder.

This actually happened on one of the Phoenixteam servers. I made a speedrun to the point where I had something like 2 stacks of nether stars before most people could find a diamond. I found people frequently "borrowed" things from my AE system, and honestly I couldn't blame them. :P

Actually, I was thinking of speedrunning, quarrying the entire world to death and establishing a server-wide monarchy...but that sounds fun too.
