IC was my first mod. It's been programed into my bones so.. I tend to do alot of things just for the sake of keeping everything not exploded. I really hope tin cable keeps it's old range on EU loss when they finally put it back in. Having to toss a transformer every 4 blocks was annoying as sin.

Ok, so it's not perfectly white. It's still ghastly bright. I would also ask you to look though the thread and see how many people are saying to let them know when they can change it, because they aren't going to check until it's fixed. My own main personal issue with having this bright page...

I did that once for a world... Used redstone and such to automate the smelteries and bar making, Sucking it all into an AE system.... I think i'm going to do this again.. That was fun to set up if nothing else.

I use the AE grinder and wood for my very first, Then i move up to Clockwork engines and TE Pulv/furnace combo. It's not really any one mod though.
