The mods you're talking about generally already exist - as bukkit based serverside plugins, as has been mentioned by others in this thread. If you want them specifically for FTB, start working on converting them to work for Forge. Also keep in mind, if there were a large need for such mods...

Loaded chunks don't use video resources, only some processor time and system RAM. Any effect on FPS will be negligible.

If you have Engineers Toolbox, try experimenting with the the EU Adapter block. Not sure if it has a hard throughput limit, default may be RF>EU but pretty sure you can configure it to go the other way (or it might do so automatically..?)

Have you tried installing an energy cell between your power network and the ME system? Might help in debugging, and give a buffer in case of it being your energy network having issues.

This plasma is from GasCraft - Nether Plasma. It's apparently incredibly dangerous. I've never tried making lakes of it, but I suggest you do so and video capture the result...FOR SCIENCE!:D

Really? I tried fluiducts and they turned into lava (in Monster 1.1.1). Maybe that's been changed in recent versions, not sure. I also only used a single Engineer's Toolbox block w/two water intakes, supplied it fine - and this was a 8MW tower (something like 12 boilers, 256 mirrors.)

It's been stated that they don't support 1. Modpacks with extra mods added, and 2. Using anything other than the stock FTB jar for launching the game. Try replicating your bug without using the extra mods and without cauldron.

I discovered this a while back after some experimentation; The GUI is to set an access code for friends-only mode. You can put various items in to create a code to give your friends so only those with the code can teleport to that block.

Forgive my interruption, but some people seem to be confusing lag for framerate drops - the two are very much different, and as a server owner it bugs me to no end when people scream "LAG!!" whenever they get large FPS drops. What's considered "Lag" is caused by the server not being able to...
