Thaumium has more durability than paper, that's about it. In some versions of TiCo you would only get an extra modifier for the the first paper/thaumium piece, so people used one of each, but I'm pretty sure that was fixed long ago. I think you can still exploit stonebound like that, but I know...

Double check your itemducts are setup properly. If they're in extraction mode they won't be seen as valid destinations. Also, itemducts seem to act a little funny with double chests. I don't use many double chests, though, so I don't know if they'd cause this problem.

The problem with bigger quarries is that they don't actually yield resources any faster than smaller quarries, you just don't need to move them as often. Early on, you likely want smaller quarries so you get down to the rarer resources faster as they will be your limiting reagents. At 1 block...

Do those stack? If so, is it multiplicative or additive? I can think of a setup that could get 3 of those connected to one Quarry+. If they stacked multiplicatively, that'd be nearing the 10k blocks/minute mark if your Quarry+ hit the 1 block/tick mark naturally. I'm fairly confident that's...

Exact speed will depend on power input, but if you started at y=60, you're looking at close to 4 million blocks to mine. Even digging 1 block every tick would take about 55 hours. At 1 block per second you're looking at about a month and a half (real time). That should give you some idea of the...

I think you may have to unwatch all your threads and then re-watch them for the change to take effect. Admittedly, it's been quite a long time since I fiddled with my settings on these forums.

Quarries chunkload their area of effect. If your computer is strapped for resources those extra chunks can potentially cause problems. Having the quarry nearby usually means at least some of its chunks are loaded anyway by the player or base chunkloaders, but then you also have to worry about...

Well, according to this the final update should be happening pretty soon (it said "within the week" 8 days ago), with another week for possible bug fixes.

I think the default key is M, but you probably have to rebind something since that conflicts with other stuff.

I honestly have no idea. I've never seen a witch hut in a Mystcraft world, but I've never really looked either. Witch hut spawning is based on the seed - the possible locations are pre-determined, but those locations have to be in a swamp biome for the hut to actually spawn. I don't know if that...

They only spawn in vanilla swamps and were intended to be uncommon at that. Just about any biome mod will make searching for a witch hut quite frustrating. There's probably at least one within 10k blocks of spawn, but that's roughly the search area you'll need to cover unless you're really lucky.

An Emerald Comb is a 4% chance specialty with a 100% chance of yielding an Emerald Fragment (is it dust in Mindcrack because of GregTech?), of which you need 4 to make an emerald. A Slowest worker with 4 Proven frames in an alveary would have a production modifier of 300% - so you'd have a 12%...

Proven Frames (as with all other forestry frames) cap their production modifier at 1000% (<4 frames). With a Fast Worker bee, that should be about 24% chance per bee tick of creating a radioactive comb. That'd actually land you somewhere around 31-32 radioactive combs per hour, so you may...

I think that's Factorization. I nearly crapped myself the first time I saw a zombie in a full quantum suit. Fortunately, it's just cosmetic.

His code in general tends to be a little janky, but it should work well enough as long as you're not trying to do anything too crazy with it. A long time ago I tried to adapt his touchscreen API for something it wasn't quite made for and it ended up being easier to just write my own API taking...

Rather than using ender chests, send stuff through a tesseract and straight into an interface. You'll be able to import items to your AE network as fast as you can pull them out of the ground.

I like building single-purpose buildings rather than single-purpose rooms/floors. Allows for really easy expansion.
