ive managed kept mine. strategic application of an icepick severs connections responsible for processing gross stupidity on the internet into a reaction more severe than *shrug*.
hence, I see the material, read and understand it, but the chemical signals do not reach the emotional centers, preserving my sanity and allowing me to go on with my life unaffected.

side note- it took a large supercomputer several DAYS to simulate one second of brain activity.
hypothesis: the first true AI capable of actual emotions, thoughts, learning, etc. will be the size of a large room, similarly to how our first forays into computing were room-sized. alternatively, it will be spread across dozens if not hundreds of computers across a region.
