I think that I read somewhere that it was possible to port your old FTB/Tekkit World over using Mystcraft. I think the method was just replacing the region files in one of the worlds but when I tried to enter the world through the books, the server crashed. If Anyone Could give some suggestions to this, it would be greatly appreciated!!

You can use this technique to add current FTB worlds to a single save.
To use a different FTB version or a Tekkit world you would need to convert all the block and item id's.

There's also going to be a lot of redpower and other mod stuff that won't work from tekit. You'll have a bit of cleanup to do if you want to make it work.
I did successfully port my vanilla world into a mystcraft age, but there's nothing in vanilla that should cause a crash.
