Can run on intel 630 graphics but not on GTX 1050 Ti

  • Tech Support section is for getting help with FTB related problems. If there's a repeatable issue that can be labeled as a bug, then please use the issue tracker for the pack or the app at GitHub issue trackers - If there's no repository for a pack that means that the pack is old and/or will not be updated. Bugs for older packs will not be fixed, unless they are critical.

Hello,

I am trying to run FTB Revelation 3.5 (14.23.5.2855).
If I set my PC to use my Intel HD Graphics 630, the game starts and plays, but it is running rather badly.
However, if I set it to use my NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti, it doesn't even start. I have updated my drivers today (version 12/07/21) and it wasn't working before, neither is it now.
While loading with the Intel Graphics gpu I can see the game client loading, but, when doing so with the NVIDIA gpu, the client has just a white screen, and after loading for a while, it gives me the following error:

The game crashed whilst initializing game
Error: net.minecraft.client.renderer.StitcherException: Unable to fit: advanced_solar_panels:models/particles - size: 256x256 - Maybe try a lowerresolution resourcepack?
Exit Code: -1

I have also updated my JRE, and reinstalled the game package, as well as the FTB client.
I have not added anything extra, I am just trying to run the Revelation package from the launcher.

Update:

It works if I plug my monitor directly into my laptop,
but it doesn't, if I plug it into my docking station.

Ah I see, yea - the Nvidia card is most likely not pushed through the docking station.
