FTB Departed - Set Skill Lvl

  • Tech Support section is for getting help with FTB related problems. If there's a repeatable issue that can be labeled as a bug, then please use the issue tracker for the pack or the app at GitHub issue trackers - If there's no repository for a pack that means that the pack is old and/or will not be updated. Bugs for older packs will not be fixed, unless they are critical.

Ahoy,

I'm renting a server through ExtraVM, which uses Multicraft.

We're playing FTB Departed and we'd like to bump up some skills.

From what I've read online, the right file to edit is:

level.dat -> Data -> Player -> ForgeData -> PlayerPersisted.

I can't edit the level.dat through Multicraft's file editor, but I downloaded it to have a look and popped it in NBT editor. I don't see the files mentioned above anywhere in there.

What am I'm missing?

Can you explain what you're trying to achieve - are you wanting to change the skill levels for the pack, or up or down the current skill level that a player on your server has?

Right, thx for replying - I want to increase skill levels for the skills in Advent of Ascension - Such as Hunting, Creation, Augury etc.

Check in this file:

../config/AoA2-2.cfg
(line 96-128)

And see if that contains the things you're after.
