93 we are talking about microsoft, which means that incompetence is also a possibility.

I mean, the last update had a bug where it would delete files in certain directories (like Downloads, Documents and those other personal folders).
This bug was submitted and accepted 3 months before they pushed it, yet it still contained this bug and had to pulled.

Also, in their statement about it they said that you can now also submit the severity of a bug if you do their beta testing to prevent new cases where really nasty bugs with low report rate are not fixed. Which, at least in the way that I read it means that Microsoft doesn't see unwanted file deletion as a severe bug.

94 If what I've heard about it is true, it was a fairly niche bug that only happened if you'd redirected those folders elsewhere, and assumed the original folders would be empty. Still, just leave them unless you test and show they're empty.
