This is most definitely not a problem at our end, feel free to use either nslookup or dig to check our dns servers. On windows from command prompt; nslookup new.creeperrepo.net ns1.creeperrepo.net nslookup new.creeperrepo.net ns2.creeperrepo.net nslookup new.creeperrepo.net ns3.creeperrepo.net...

Do you have any specific information like how long the download takes etc, or is it entirely random? Trying to figure out if it's a timeout or similar. A WinMTR log to said IP could also be useful.

Hello, Glad to see some information gathering. You can guarantee accuracy of the location you're connecting to, by, on windows, opening command prompt and running 'ping new.creeperrepo.net' This will return the following; Microsoft Windows [Version 6.2.9200] (c) 2012 Microsoft...

    Problem Server Lag Issues

Hello, Just a little more information, it'd be nice to see where these are coming from, because it suddenly started happening recently on a server that was fine, no changes on the server, just a migration from virtual server to physical hardware; Scanning: 668 / 668 100%...

Creeperhost needs your help! We have a geo system for downloads ready to test.

Tweaked it again, looks like I can't get round robin working on the GeoDNS, so what I've done is just sliced the US in 2, half get 1 box, half get the other, not an ideal solution but it'll work.

Trying to get multiple mirrors in each location working, really quite hard to test it with caching DNS servers getting in the way. Can you guys ping america.creeperrepo.net and let me know either what it says after "Pinging" (Either chicago1 or chicago2) or the IP, that's be absolutely fantastic.

Well, Honestly I'm going to suggest a dropdown with "Europe" and "United States" for all the downloads... Unfortunately GeoDNS is based off the location of your DNS servers, this is also how Akamai and Amazon do it.

All good now guys, we know the DNS servers are routing people correctly, I'm happy :D

Easy, it's not cheaper, and I like control. FTB can easily have 20,000,000 GET requests a day, that many requests on Amazon S3 would retail at $20, that's excluding the charge for the storage space. Using their own "Simple Monthly Calculator", they would charge $3460.15 for what we provide...

Looking good, thanks guys, looks like we can have a chat with the FTB guys and see if they'll switch from the repo.creeperhost.net domain to www.creeperrepo.net.

    CreeperRepo Issues

More so than even FTB their selves expected... Over 1000 people download something right now... Most of which are gonna be FTB.

Fix for the "No Mods"/"Not Downloading" issues.

I think a little more information needs given. repo.creeperhost.net is in France, it then divides the load between France and Luxemberg. Our North American server is not online fully yet, and doesn't have the same concurrent bandwidth abilities of either of it's European counterparts, but...

    CreeperRepo Issues

So far, FTB has used according to their stats page around 75TB since launch, but this comes in HUGE bursts, it can go with 1TB one day, then 12TB the next, so I have to plan like every day is going to be a 12TB day, or else when the 12TB day comes, everything will break, note, this excludes...

    CreeperRepo Issues

Hoping to get the third box ready before RP2's added... Thinking about grabbing some java development tools and adding my drop down idea (With HTTP header checks for 503 to automatic failover to another mirror) to the launcher and submitting a pull request... But my java is poor at best, only...
