I had no problems updating our server to 1.1.3. We all simply selected 1.1.3 in the launcher and were able to play after I had uploaded the new server files the launcher gave me. Make sure you delete the old mods first so you don't get any duplicate mods.

Nope, definately a bug. I experience this as well with the DW20 pack. I think it is actually on even though you can't always see the effect.

My boiler also uses blaze rods to produce heat. Once it's heated up to a good 400°C a T5 blaze spawner can easily spawn enough blazes to keep the boiler running (I even get a lot of excess blaze rods).

I don't think that you can get it by normal crafting. http://feed-the-beast.wikia.com/wiki/Ultimate_Solar_Helmet I requires an Ultimate Hybrid Solar Panel that is added by the Advanced Solar Panels addon for IC². The DW20 pack does not have this addon.
