sorry folks if this has been asked but how do i go about adding an EMC value to stuff like copper, tin, aluminium and the like? they currently have no value

is there any way to level up shields from tinkers defense? i have been using them to block attacks but they have gotten no exp at all.

ive also just found a small bug where when i have a tinkers or vanilla bow equip and i hole right click is kinda have draws and then stops and re draws again. its also the case with food. edit: turns out crazy pants magnet i have is whats causing it, weird :/

no i ment if you go to the ztones mod is actually says it removes the need for light, however just for curiosities sake i put torches nearby and they grew =P

what about the garden soil? it says in the mod description that garden soil can grow plants even without water/light.

alright well im using the 1.7 packs so im good to use java 8

so i was wondering for a while FTB didn't support use of java 8 and i was wondering is that fixed? cus some of the updates java 8 has would be very useful.

ok thanks =D. im trying to not use anything other then the greg tech items and blocks as i have never used the mod before. this imformation is useful thanks.

for example if both are made of iron would the greg pick last longer or the vanilla pick? (keep in mind the vanilla nerf isn't on by default).

so a pick used to mine cobble would last longer then vanilla pick but once you start mining ore it wears faster?

so how exactly can i turn on gregtech hard mode? or is it just hardcore mode?

so i started playing FTB resurrection and i was wondering is there actually a point to the lower end Gregtech picks, they take more resources to make and seem to be just as useful as vanilla pick. Do they have more durability? can they be easily repaired? are they anything other then a harder...
