Thanks for the reply, I'll try all of your recommendations then come back with my results, I have tried to run the server on my pc seperately before, but the performance was about twice as worse, but I've never tried setting it to a certain core.

How did you switch to proprietary?

this only started happening recently though,to all big mod packs,i could run ftb ultimate fine with 50 fps on my biggest worlds,I don't know why it started happening now.

the EXACT same thing has happened to me.Most of your lag is supposed to be caused by game render but now 75% of lag is caused by tick and when the game is paused all of the tick lag disappears

You said you have your performance on power saver? NEVER have it on power saver.Keep it on max FPS. On power saver it can reduce your cpu usage to 1%.
