Running windows 8.

Any ideas? Probably a pretty easy fix, but I for one cannot figure it out.
I'm thinking it MAY be the child protection thing stopping it from downloading.

Yep, you were correct on your first guess.
It doesn't recognize creeperhost and it's not letting it download.

Also, I thought windows 8 only played 'apps' (crap from the Microsoft store). How did you get it to run Minecraft at all?
