Yeah, my advice would be to get a gravity gun (if it's in your pack), and scour the earth for a chicken. Once you have 1, you can set up an egg farm easily, and use those eggs to get more chickens, to get more eggs.

I also find that eggs are the best way of getting a chicken spawner, as killing a baby chick is counted the same as killing a full grown one, so load up with stacks of eggs, throw them into a pit, kill all chicks, repeat.

Then again dwarf bread (as everyone knows) is great for sitting on.

Or smiting your foes with. (boomerang biscuits come to mind)

So I reckon it's just a matter of size .

If your just going for a super easy armour aspect rubber boots give four of that aspect but if you alembics then it really doesnt matter for crafting at least.

Instead of trying each aspect one by one you can also use items that have several aspects e. g.pistons and book cases. This saves research time at the cost of more resources.
