I'm sure a lot of people are thinking about this. We're no strangers to
waiting for mod updates, sometimes even for a very long time. Love
it or hate it, it happens and we have to live with it. You know the rules
of how this stuff works, we just have to be patent for a while. And so
eventually we will get an update with all the new Minecraft stuff. Do I
sound too conciliatory? Well, I have more to say on this topic. A full
investigation may be needed into the habits of modders. Committment's
a major requirement for being a top-notch modder. What I'm thinking of
is a push for higher dedication levels. You wouldn't get this from any other
modback. We don't want to have to wait until the 5th of November. Guy
Fawkes day was just chosen at complete random. I just wanna tell you how
we could improve wait times for updates, is that really so bad? I'm feeling
some sort of reward to show appreciation to modders may help. Gotta make
some 'carrot' to balance out the 'stick' of being left out entirely. You understand
what I'm saying about being left out of the pack entirely? Never gonna give you
more than a couple of months past a Minecraft update to update FTB. Up
to now it hasn't been that bad and hopefully it won't. Well it might. Never
is a very long time. Maybe such delays will be unavoidable some day. Gonna
go out on a limb and say, well you know how some people are. Let you down
when you least expect it. Playing FTB can be tough at times, right? Never
play a game that doesn't stay fun, that's my rule. Gonna run around and
get some exercise outside instead, it's better for your health. Desert you
need to be careful in because you might suddenly run into a cactus. Never
run into a cactus if you can help it. You know the result. Gonna make you cry
and pull spiny things out of your skin. That's really very painfuul. Never gonna
go into a dry, hot, cactus-laden desert in real life if I can help it. Say goodbye
to your epidermis! But that's mostly because of sunburn. Never gonna tell a
story I heard about a guy who got really bad sunburn, it's far too gross. Lie
all you want but some things are so icky they hurt your brain. And hurt you
in other places like your stomach or even liver. We've known each other for
only the fairly sort time we've been on this forum (in most cases). So long
as we stay civil I think we have a chance at making progress. You're heart's
in the right place, at least. (So's your brain, stomach, and liver.) Been aching
to create a thread like this for a while. You could have done. But you're too shy
so I've done it all for you. So now here it is, for everyone to read. To say it
like it is and call a pickaxe a pickaxe. Inside we both know what's been going on
between modders and players and among individual modders. We know the game
is better than plain vanilla, but could be better, far better. And we're gonna play it
no matter what happens with RP2, or other slow updating mods. If you ask me
I don't think it's too big a deal. Things will improve eventually. How I'm feeling
shouldn't be put above the personal lives of any individual modder. Don't tell me
what to do with my free time, or worry about free mods. You're too blind to see
that it's all a joke.

Lost as always
Wow... that's just... wow.

On the one hand, excellent troll/April Fool's post. That actually took some thought and consideration to create, although the typesetting was rather a giveaway.

On the other, subtle enough that it could get ugly quickly.

Can anyone help me in deciphering if I was rick rolled?

What makes you think that? I'm just trying to offer some discussion. I wasn't expecting some sort of Spanish Inquisition.
