Forestry Crates are not craftable?

Whenever I go to use the recipe in a carpenter that is Here nothing happens. The recipe is also not available in NEI. Help please?

Sengir has disabled crates (he wasn't pleased with how the process works from what I understand). All the related items/recipes are deprecated and kept in so those that have them stored up in previous saves can still use what they have left.

Whether there's a replacement or not is something you'd have to ask the man himself. =)
