(DW20) Can't Keep up and lag issue

Okay so I'm at a bit of a loss here. I'm running a private FTB DW20 1.6.4 server for a group of friends, and for some reason the terminal keeps giving me a Can't keep up error. On top of that the server tends to lag on and off quite a bit. I'm currently running the server on a 2.33 quad core with 10 gigs of ram on debian wheezy. Dose anybody know how I can correct these issues?

What processor is it? Multiple cores don't matter for minecraft and GHz doesn't matter as much as people think either.

DW20 have sometimes laggs, there you can´t do anything. - If you use Cauldon, remove it, that will reduse the lags.
