If the server hosts are bypassing our server scripts then they wont get all the libraries, we tweeted out this information a couple of weeks ago. Previously we were shipping some libraries that we do not ship any more to ensure legal compliance moving forwards.thats all fine and dandy bud but still does not change the fact that my self nor my server host could get this pack to run due to the missing library files and last time i checked sir that ftb bad not mine just saying

Worlds from 1.6.4 are not compatible with 1.7.10. Many changes were made in between to mods.
Okay then, I am getting ridiculous lag, even just on the title screen. I tried giving it more ram, but it didn't help at all
this is to prog, java 8 has LOTS OF PROBLEMS WITH MINECRAFT 1.7. It has been acknkowledged by the community
@TheMiner1511 these issues have been addressed including the 1.6.4 java 8 u20 issues and java 8 on osx. If there are any outstanding java 8 exclusive issues i'd be happy to try to fix them.
I am also having the problem with it opening vanilla minecraft. I tried changing the Java path to the Java 7 version, but that still doesn't work.
It helped a lot,and now my title screen works, but I'm still getting about 9 FPS

And work. And eating. And living a ....I am currently experimenting with http://minecraft.curseforge.com/mc-mods/221584-admin-commands-toolbox on another 1.7.10 modpack to see how it works. It takes a while, but I am doing a '/pregenspawn 150' to pre-worldgen the map 150 chunks in any direction. Once complete, I am going to tell Journey map to automap all. I am hoping this will help with all 1.7.10 modpacks.

If you install the above mod and follow what I outlined, you will be doing pretty good. I also recommend JRE8. I seemed to have a memory leak with JRE7. I went from 40fps and 20 chunk updates to 40fps and 55 chunk updates while creative flying.
