Everything is same between my client and my friend's client who CAN play on the server. But everytime I try logging in, I receive this error regardless of my config files (I Assume):

Forge Mod Loader has found ID mismatches
Complete details are in the log file

ID 26097 is mismatched between world and game
ID 20268 is mismatched between world and game
ID 20269 is mismatched between world and game
ID 26116 is mismatched between world and game

How can I fix this issue? I don't think the server is causing this trouble because 15 people are playing on this with the same modpack I'm using...

Try to copy the config folder from your friend's FTB client into yours. If that fails, you could use Tunggle for an Open to LAN world, as it's mostly lagg-free, and is free.

Yea, just get the configs from the server/someone who can play on the server and you should be fine

E: Offering cash for services is kinda meh at best..

Ok the problem is that I've already tried getting the config from someone who actually CAN play on the server, that's the main problem. I've been trying to solve this problem for days and it gets to a point where it convinces me I need professional help. I put the config my friend sends me to my config file, and I still cannot join while he can...

I even formatted the whole computer and reinstalled everything again sadly

I'm not going to lie. I really can't stand it when people do this to fix a game.

Do this, exactly as I have it written:
Please follow these steps exactly: http://desk.feed-the-beast.com/index.php?/Knowledgebase/Article/View/9/0/basic-troubleshooting
This is to rule out any issues with your client setup.

If you continue to have trouble, please post your complete client-side console log in debug-mode to pastebin.com and link your paste URL here.
To find your logs and prevent them from expiring: http://desk.feed-the-beast.com/inde...29/1/what-log-do-you-need-where-can-i-find-it
Make sure you're selecting the same version of the same modpack as the server you're trying to connect to. If they have made ANY changes to the server, you need to make the exact same changes to your client setup.

Does it work over LAN? Use Hamachi/ Tunngle to test that. Try hosting both on your computer and your friend's.

Simple have your friend save the world file and redownload the pack. Then you delete the pack from the directory found in the options tab and let it redownload.

For those internet folks who found this post, but not the answer...

Some mods overwrite the vanilla minecraft blockids. Those mods do this when you start your client, even before you connect to the server. The server then checks your IDs, and sees you have a conflict, but its with a mod that the server does not have.

So on your client, you have a mod that the server does not have -- and this mod has overwritten a vanilla minecraft blockid.

The solution is to remove that 'extra' mod from your client. Coping over the server configs will not help you, because the mod is not on the server.

It shouldn't. I'm not seeing any ID mismatch flags in that log. Which version of the mod pack are you using, and which version does the server have?

server and client is direwolf20 pack v1.1.1. i have tried all three 1.5.2 packs with their respective servers all version 1.1.1. when i uninstall thermalexpansion and magicalbees it works without any problems.

Mismatched items : {26097=(Item 26097, Type magicbees.item.ItemCapsule, owned by MagicBees, ordinal 0, name capsule.magic, claimedModId null, Item 26097, Type magicbees.item.ItemCapsule, owned by MagicBees, ordinal 0, name capsule.magıc, claimedModId null), 20268=(Item 20268, Type thermalexpansion.plugins.buildcraft.pipes.TEItemPipe, owned by ThermalExpansion, ordinal 0, name item.buildcraftPipe.pipeitemsinsertion, claimedModId null, Item 20268, Type thermalexpansion.plugins.buildcraft.pipes.TEItemPipe, owned by ThermalExpansion, ordinal 0, name item.buildcraftPipe.pipeıtemsınsertion, claimedModId null), 20269=(Item 20269, Type thermalexpansion.plugins.buildcraft.pipes.TEItemPipe, owned by ThermalExpansion, ordinal 1, name item.buildcraftPipe.pipeitemsredstone, claimedModId null, Item 20269, Type thermalexpansion.plugins.buildcraft.pipes.TEItemPipe, owned by ThermalExpansion, ordinal 1, name item.buildcraftPipe.pipeıtemsredstone, claimedModId null), 26116=(Item 26116, Type magicbees.item.ItemCapsule, owned by MagicBees, ordinal 1, name capsule.void, claimedModId null, Item 26116, Type magicbees.item.ItemCapsule, owned by MagicBees, ordinal 1, name capsule.voıd, claimedModId null)}

this is the part i am seeing on the server and getting the error of mismatched items on my client. id's 20268, 20269, 26097 and 26116

Did you copy/paste your friends config to your folder and do a copy/replace? Or did you delete you config file completely and then place the config from your friend into the minecraft folder?
